Paid Name Changes (WoW)

“We’re happy to announce that through the wonders of modern gnomish engineering, you are now able to change your characters’ names. Finally, you can turn the moniker that seemed like a good idea at the time into something more befitting your true standing in World of Warcraft.”

Cost: 10 Dollars.

If used properly, this is a wonderful idea for folks that transfer over to a RP server or want to change their name. Also for those that don’t RP that want to have a name that is RP-friendly. For active role-players, it allows reconfiguring their names if they want to change some aspect which seemed “good at the time.” *grin*

One of the good things is that it still means folks on your ignore/friends lists will update accordingly, so you are not left with a bunch of question marks. I would suggest putting a note on friends. Hopefully, a friend will let you know either before or after the change. *grin*
